1. Double-click My Computer.

My Computer

2. Double-click Control Panel.

3. Open Network.

4. The following network components should be installed: Dial-Up Adapter, TCP/IP and Client for Microsoft Networks. There may be additional components installed. We recommend removing any AOL Adaptors listed. Click on the adapter you want to remove, then click the Remove button.

5. If you have the required adapters click OK. If you made any changes to the settings it will require you to restart your computer. When prompted, click Yes to restart.

6. If you are missing any of the required adapters, you may need to add them to be able to properly connect to ChiliTech. To add any missing adapters, click Add. The Select Network Component Type box should appear.

7. To add the Dial-up Adapter, select Adapter and click Add. A list of Manufactures and Network Adapters should appear. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers list on the left. Then select Dial-Up Adapter from the Network Adapters list on the right side and click OK.

8. To add the TCP/IP adapter, click Add from the main Network window. The Select Network Component Type box should appear, select Protocol and click Add. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturers list on the left and select TCP/IP from the Network Protocols list on the right. Click OK.

9. To add the Client for Microsoft Networks, click Add from the main Network window. The Select Network Component Type box should appear, select Client and click Add. Select Microsoft from the Manufactures list on the left and select Client for Microsoft Networks from the Network Clients on the right. Click OK.

16. Once the required Network components are installed, click OK on the main Network window. Installing or making changes to your Network components may require your Windows 95 or 98 CD. Place the Windows disk into your CD-ROM drive and click OK. If you do not have a Windows CD you may try the Windows System Restore or back disks that may have come with your computer.

17. After adding a component or changing settings you will need to restart your computer.
