Create a shortcut for a Windows NT 4.0 Connection

1. Double click the Dial-Up Networking icon

2. Make sure that ChiliTech is the Phonebook entry to dial.

3. Select More and Edit entry and modem properties.

4. An Edit Phonebook Entry window for ChiliTech should appear. Make sure the Phone number is your local access number.

5. Click the Configure button along the modem listed to display the Modem Configuration. Click the OK button.

6. Click the Server tab on the Phonebook Entry. Make sure that TCP/IP is the only Network protocol checked. Then click the TCP/IP Settings button.

7. A TCP/IP Settings window should appear. Check the settings then click OK.

8. Click the Script tab and make sure that it is set to None.

9. Click the Security tab and verify that Accept any authentication including clear text is the option checked.

10. Click the X.25 option and make sure it is set to Network (none). Click the Ok button to exit the Edit Phonebook Entry.
