| Prompt to Disconnect When
Closing Internet Explorer |

This option is used when you would like to have Internet Explorer
prompt to disconnect when you close your browser window.
Resolution
To utilize this open follow the steps below:
Applies to Windows 95/98/2000/XP
- Click on Internet Explorer.
- Click on ‘Tools’ at the top.
- Click on Internet Options.
- When the Internet Properties box opens up you will want to
select the ‘Connections’ tab.
- On this tab you will see Chilitech.
- Click on the ‘Settings’ button next to the white
box.
- At the bottom of the new box that opens, you will want to
select the ‘Advanced’ button.
- A new box will open and you will want to be sure there is
a check mark in the box labeled ‘disconnect if a connection
is no longer needed.’
- Click ‘Ok’ all the way out until all boxes are
closed.
- Now you sure be prompted to disconnect when you close your
browser window.
Windows ME users follow these steps:
- Click on Internet Explorer.
- Click on ‘Tools’ at the top.
- Click on Internet Options.
- When the Internet Properties box opens up you will want to
select the ‘Connections’ tab.
- On this tab you will see Chilitech.
- Click on the ‘Settings’ button next to the white
box.
- At the bottom of the new box, you will want to click on ‘Properties.’
- Next click on the ‘Dialing’ tab
- Finally put a check mark in the box labeled ‘disconnect
if a connection is no longer needed.’
- Click ‘Ok’ all the way out until all boxes are
closed.
- Now you sure be prompted to disconnect when you close your
browser window.
