Symptoms

At times it is not possible to empty the cache in win 95 or 98 thru internet options

Cause

The option is not there or your computer freezes and the cache and cookies are not deleted.

Resolution

To delete all cookies:

1. Click on My Computer icon
2. Open the C Drive
3. Open Windows folder
4. Open Cookies folder
5. Select All
6. Delete
7. index.dat is the only file in there that cannot be deleted

To delete Temporary Internet Files:

1. Click on My Computer icon
2. Open the C Drive
3. Open Windows folder
4. Open Temporary Internet Files
5. Select All
6. Delete
